Lowering Environmental impact

An increasing number of caravanners do not take their vans home. The owners use nearby storage facilities and lift from there as and when required - some Summer pitch at the Millpond and winter store locally. these actions make for fuel economy and removed a percentage of caravans from the highways during peak periods of the tourism season

Recycling

The Millpond is increasing items for recycling for 2007, - where along with glass we await a bin for paper. Recycling also occurs regularly - where improvements occur many items in hand will reappear in other guises.

To appreciate The Millpond in its very rural location as a growing source of local community input, its policies of increased recycling does much to help environmental concern, and through conservation is very concious of its role as a "Guardian of the Countryside"
