The Millpond
lake for any purpose Autumn 2006 onwards
Please, in the interest of safety - Children under the age of 15 years are NOT PERMITTED AROUND THE POOLS WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION
Bans
Barbed hooks of any kind are unacceptable, these include micro-barb and pinch barb-less. Hand lining
Braid
Bait Boats and Sonars.
Trout Pellets or high protein feeds.
Boilies
Artificial baits
No night fishing
No fixed bolt rigs
Restrictions and generally accepted angling practices
Please respect all Millpond Pool Rules as regular checks are made
To fish The Millpond and all inland waters an E.A Rod Licence is required
Balance your tackle to your expected results. Allow for a lesser weight hook length to main line. No fixed bolt rigs
No fish, crustations, plants or other pond life to be removed from or introduced into these waters
We have set a maximum hook size of No 10
All landing nets must be dipped in tanks provided
Please use landing nets for all fish and for larger fish unhooking mats must be used
All nets should be manufactured from equipment bearing the acceptable manufacturing markings - e,g, The N.F.A Lily Pad Mark
Ground bait may be used in feeders or pole caps only
No maggots to be dumped in ANY refuse container
Please look after the fish, they look after you and us
Please report any unusual disfigurements on fish
Keep-Nets are NOT allowed
If match is in progress - they will be using Millpond keep nets
Match organisers must ensure their members know the Pool Rules
Match officials must carry a copy of Club's public liability insurance
Audible foul language is not acceptable
Excessive noise from radio receivers is not acceptable
Dogs and bicycles are not allowed on or near the bank-side
We have wheelchair designated fishing pegs, please ask to be accompanied to them, These may be priority usage
If need be - Use the rubbish bins by the service building especially for metal containers and line - dispose of in the correct manner

Copies of these pool rules are available on request
We have produced these guidelines to inform all, and the minority who on a "do not know" basis seem to want to spoil it for the majority
